Well excuse the hell out of me for misspelling his name. I am not from his generation, but my dad gushes about how great his music is. I heard a few years ago that there was going to be a biopic. And why not? If he's as great as people say he is, then why not let this generation understand who he was?

Good grief, Person#49--don't you think you're a little anal about the name thing? It's not like she called him hitler. Don't be a loser today....besides, I really doubt this is the biggest thing you have to worry about--you should look into getting a life sometime soon...
About the movie, I had heard something about it, but it was a while back and then it just went away--noone has said anything else. (that I've heard, anyways) I think Andre 3000 (aka Andre Benjamin) is a good actor, and he really surprised me with his performance in Four Brothers. I would like to see him do more movies.

That is totally weird...I was thinking the other day that I wished for a movie based on the life of Jimi Hendrix to come out. Me and my friends were talking about which actor would play him but we could not think of one. Now that you put Andre 3000 in my head I think he really is the best fit! Hopefully that project is still going on!

actually I read that it was supposed to be Lenny Kravitz playing Hendrix in some movie....

WHAT?!? and btw its JIMI hendrix ((he didnt trademark the name for nothing)) and once again, WHAT!?!? no.
just. no.
no one can play jimi. no one.
HELL no. he was one of the greatest guitarists in the world. his legend speaks for itself. he doesnt need some movie made about him esp played by someone who proably hasnt ever heard even 'all along the watchtower'....
