If you're using a laptop, there's a hot button on your keyboard, usually a blue FN key combination with one of the F1-F12 keys up on the top row. The relevant key probably has a little picture of a screen on it. Power up and hit FN plus this key. You may have to hit it twice to make the internal display re-enable.

You can also connect an external monitor to the DB9 video connector on the back of the unit, then switch back to your primary display with the display properties. If it's a desktop, and you switched devices with the display properties, you might find you have more then one video adapter DB9 in the back of the machine. Try moving the cable to the unpopulated connector, if there is one.

Start your computer up with F8 for the safe modus. You will see the screen and do what you must. Then by restart you can always use, the option of the last goodworking startup on the black dos screen, that is before the actual windows startup. One of those should work.
