it is 14 days after the first day of your period, but you might get pregnant if you have intercourse on day 12- 16 after your period, because the eggs lives 48 hours and the sperm around 3-4 days, so if you want a baby give it a try, but if you don't use condoms since day 11 thru day 17 just in case! implantation usually happens with in 4-10 days after ovulation.. which isnt the fertilization of the egg , its the time the fertilized egg.. sticks to your uterine wall.

7-10 days sometimes 12 but not usually!
