Need help! What are some traditional men and woman's clothes?

I got this assinment on Malta and I got absolutly not idear what people in matla wear.

I need to find out what colours, patterns or types of material they use.
What are their influences for these clothes

and when do they wear it?

Apparantely the maltese costume is the "Ghonella" which was a black cloak worn as an over coat and over the head to protect the people from wind, rain and sun. The women used to wear this garment.
