My friends are all getting one of those new consoles like xbox360's and Wii's and PS3's. I would really like a PS3 because i heard they are really good and play the best games out of all of those new consoles..
But the PS3 in australia is $1000, but i can get if for about $900 because my mum works at a shop that sells them.
I reminded my mum about what she said when i asked her to buy me a wii (it was "I wont get you a wii, but i will get you a PS3 when they come out) she said she didnt say that but my sister and dad remember.
So how can i convince my mum to buy me a PS3? i am willing to pay $400 of my own money so maybe i that could convince her.
I need help convincing my mum! please help!

Well Tell her that with the ps 3 you can help cure cancer and alzheimers and many other deseases. It is no joke-- Standford found out that the processing power of the ps3 will help them decode the protien folding element part of research in these deseases in only a few months where as the high end computers will take ten years. So sony has given ps3 owners the software necessary to become a part of this program.

Not only is the ps3 for gaming but it is a full computer capable of doing many many things - it can't walk on water yet but give sony some time.

Great so you want to buy a ps3, tell your mum that you will give her the four hundred dollars up front and then ask her if she can get for you and then you can just pay it off with pocket money or something. If that doesn't work show her some of the graphics and features of the PS3. Hopes this convinces your mum.

i personally would not get the ps3. At one point I had the ps3 and the wii. I ended up returning the ps3 cause the wii is just so much better . so i would get the wii instead. Just go to the local Best buys or wal mart and pick one up there. The only problem is its still really hard to find the wii. Best buy and wall mart are always sold out. Try going to this site and type in your Zip Code. http://doiop.com/locatethewii It will tell you when shipments of the Wii are in your area and how many. its really helpful. it worked for me

ahh you had to wait like the rest of us europeans to get your hands on ps3 which was only released yesterday, so at least you know that ps3 is gonna wipe the floor with xbox and wii over the next few years, remember when ps2 was being slated because the fan was too loud when watching dvd's at the beginning , and look what happened, dvd became popular thanks mainly to ps2, and ps3 will do for blu ray what ps2 did for dvd...just wait and see.. don't bother getting a wii, because there is no dvd player, no internet, and all it has going for it is a mickey mouse controller, that will lose it's appeal when the games start to dry up, just like nintendos light gun when it came out with the snes.. xbox 360 won't get the quality of games that sony will..
as regards to your mum, just tell her plain and simple that you want it, and you are prepared to pay half of it yourself, tell her straight out and be to the point and say why you want it so much and the benefits it has over the other consoles...if you have 50 dollars spare, you should buy her a few flowers or chocolates and say thank you to her for saying she could get you one cheap.. best of luck, hopefully she gets it for you

u dont need to convince ur mum bcoz ps3 is bad it doesnt hav a gud battery life if u r really a gamer buy x box 360 bcoz of its awesome graphics but never buy a ps3 bcoz ps3 is jst lik ps2 but a lot more expensive than ps2

Be nice to her. Do all your chores. Then write like a essay on why she should get you it. If its good, she will be impressed by it, and also very proud. Make sure its typed and looks neat.
