i would be hard to tell coz both have something to show. For land of the dead. It shows the director george a. romero(the pioneer of zombie flicks) doing his thing that somewhat shows the social issues of today. like what tyranny caused by dennis hopper. on the other hand, resident evil is a more up to date zombie film and i have to say it has a little edge because im a great fan of resident evil. and it shows the protagonist as a feminist. showing girl power.

I like the social commentary of "Land of the Dead", but "Resident Evil: Apocalypse" is the movie that is in my DVD player right now. (Not exactly "Resident Evil", but the second one is so much better. I love Olivera.)

Well The new remake of dawn of the dead not bad. But resident evil (mmm) Hott female star. And all around good movie. Give it 3 up (2 thumbs and Mr.wood)

both were good but i would have to go with resident evil because it's more gorey.
