I know it's a long shot but I was wondering if anyone knows his favorite wine or the type of wine you think he would like. I might meet him and I wanted to give him a bottle of wine. I am running errands tomorrow and will buy the wine then so I need to know ASAP. Thanks!

He prefers Champagne.
I read it in a recent interview..
Give him Don Perignon. He prefers that. It is a little expensive though. Some go for $200+ a bottle.

A gift of wine can be a very personal thing...I think it can be similar to giving flowers in how it reflects your feelings, intentions and good taste.

Why did you waste your time? Just use your good judgment, ask for some help at the liquor store and you should be fine.
