My friends say that I am metro sexual… what does that mean? Just because I take two or more showers a day, cut my finger nails, and trim my eye brows doesn’t mean I am into other guys.

Don't worry love, it just means you take better care of your appearance than most men. You don't have to be gay to wanna look good.

Metro-sexuals are straight guys that act a lot like gay guys. Into fashion, care alot about there looks, hairstyles. They are more feminen than regular straight guys but they are not gay. These are the people who will always get the woman, and live classy so it's kind of a good thing for you.

Darling, as you live, you'll find that people are generally WAY too caught up with stereotypes -- which will often cause them to make sweeping generalizations. You'll get over it, quickly, and hopefully so will they.
**Note: If you wanna have a little fun with them, make some sweeping generalizations back, and you'll find that you'll meet up with some vehement opposition. For instance, if your friends say your "metro-sexuality" makes you gay, then you should respond, "Yeah, and that means I have a bigger d!ck than all of you, because all gay men have big d!cks". No doubt, they'll respond with, "No WAY, dude, that's a stereotype ... that stuff isn't true."
And then just stare at them blankly, until their own hypocrisy dawns on them...:)

Metro does not mean you are into other guys... it literally means that you live a homosexual-esque lifestyle (i.e. plucking your eyebrows, making sure all accessories match your outfit) without being gay. You like to look good but that makes you look more like a chick (the action) to your friends.

No. This is a new phenomenon coined by people like Ryan Seacrest. It is now socially acceptable for men to take care of their outward appearance like woman and still be looked as at heterosexual.

i think one shower a day is plenty. More than that can dry out your skin and make your hair icky. Other than that you just sound like a guy that cares about his appearance.

A metrosexual is a male that acts extremely feminine but he is still sexually attracted to women and only women. He acts like a female but is still attracted to them.

metrosexual isn't gay. when people say that you are metrosexual, it means you are a self-conscious kind of guy who cares about image (ie: david beckham)
