"Muslims" (Mohammadeans) are quick to point to any report which says that someone converted to Islam (Mohammadism).

They parade the report all over the internet to promote Mohammad's religion, but when they see a report of someone converting FROM Islam (Mohammadism) to any other religion, they quickly attempt to debunk the the source of THAT report with claims like "that source is anti-Islamic and hates Muslims" or "that is not true" or ANY EXCUSE THEY CAN THINK OF to refute the validity of the FACT that MILLIONS of people are leaving Islam (Mohammadism) every year.

Some of them are BORN AND RAISED as Muslims (the vast majority of "converts" are the children of Muslims (Mohammadeans) who are indoctinated into Islam (Mohammadism)), and some are people who convert to Islam (Mohammadism) briefly, but then change their mind and leave Islam (Mohammadism).

So... WHY are so many people leaving Islam (Mohammadism)? Reasons please, no lame petty denials from angy Mohammadeans...

Because they grow brains?

Many a murtad fitri [Muslim born into the Faith leaving] leave it when they realize how wrong they've been in believing all that.

The murtad mili [Muslim Convert leaving] normally, become Muslim because of love for the husband or wife. They usually leave it when they divorce.

Frankly, for one to convert to Islam, one needs to really have lost all reason.

Especially when it comes to a Westerner.

See what it's done to people like Shiek Bilal Phillips who's now a raving lunatic!

Fact is, when people say that they saw the Light and converted to Islam, they're sad delusional people. Western women who convert to marry the Muslim are really the most sad people I've ever seen. You can see that they wouldn't make it with thier own kind and had to resort to this. Same goes for the men who are equally sad cases.

I can only say that I feel sorry for these delusional people who need so hard to "Believe" in the fiction.

Mohammad was such an evident fraud that it's shocking that so many people fell for his fiction, in the first place!

Now, to perpetuate it, they have the "Death Sentence" for the apostates!? Frankly, I can't find anything more sickening and misguided than the Shari'a and Islamic Imams!

Pax vobiscum, pax dominic,

Simon Templar

I wonder if MusliM has heard about Dr. Ali Sina and Dr. Walid Shoebat? They're both murtad fitris!

Roshni, of course, doesn't seem to realize how big Muslim families usually are! The reason for the growth of Islam is, actually, because they breed like rabbits! Each family has 6 to 8 children and then these go and have 6 to 8 children of their own! Guess what happens then?

Because they don't believe in the guidelines set by Islam. It doesn't mean they've grown a brain. They probably prefer a different lifestyle, one that does not abide by Islamic rules which includes no premarital sex, no gambling, no consumption alcohol just to name a few. Or sometimes they don't believe that God exists.

Some Muslims have been exposed to the wrong representation of Islam and that's really sad to me. I'm a Muslim and I'm proud to be one. I come from a Muslim family that doesn't force me to do something I didn't want to... and perhaps why I don't hate Islam. There are Muslim families who get their children to do something on the pretext that it's "Islamic" and that has caused them to dislike Islam.

By the way someone up there said that Indonesia is the largest Muslim country. Untrue! Indonesia is not a Muslim country (former president was a Hindu), it just has the highest amount of Muslims living there.

This is soo true -

e.g. Indonesia, one of the - if not the - largest muslim country in the world has now about 25 Million Christians, converted over the past 8 yrs, despite prosecution and terror threats etc.

China's largest religious community is Christianity now - not counting confucianism as a religion - with almost 30 Million christians.

Fact is that in most muslim countries in this world, Christianity is officially forbidden, prosecuted and priests sometimes just killed.
- Just goes to show that the Muslims seem to need terror and opression to keep their thing going in some countries -

Christianity - and especially christian revival churches and their missions are the fastest growing "religion" or spiritual group in the world. Because they do not have centralised organisations and in many cases do not cooperate worldwide, reliable statistics are always difficult to get however.

I am a christian and realise that
- many many muslims are good law abiding people and citizens
I sincerely hope that more muslims will find the Lord,

God Bless you

Well, many Muslims in countries closed to the Gospel have become Christians through visions they had. Many Imams, when realizing there is a lot missing in the Q'ran and confronted by missionaries, become Christians. A lot more have come to Christ through these former Imams teaching the Gospel to other Muslims... and I'm sure you could find other valid explanations floating around.

A person leaves one religion to go to another for many reasons. Whether it be pressure, own choice ... I am a muslim, i find my religion right for me. My friends are from many different religions, they find their religion right for THEM. No matter how much i can try i can not change their religion.

People who convert from Islam (please use the right term, not Mohammadism.) to another religion either do not understand the meaning of the religion or find that another religion appeals to them and their character.

A religion is a way of life, we all do not think the same. We all want something different from our lives and maybe changing our religion is an option to help live our lives our way.

Besm Allaah!!!

It's not true that many people leave Islam.

In Digest Readers Almanac, year book 1986, the fact is mentioned the number of Muslims increased in period 1934-84, by 235%, and that's the biggest procent.

On the site thetruereligion.org you have testimonials of different Christian priests who converted to Islam.

On Islam.org you have almost every day testimonials of people who converted to Islam.

Can you tell me only a single story of a Muslim scientist who changed his mind about his religion, one is fair enough.

When a Muslim beliver goes deeply in the basic of the faith of Islam he/she will never ever look to another faith regardless of the benifite he will get. As I have bee told that many converts from Islam to Cheristianty in Africa are doing so seeking the food from Cherstian orgnization that will give the food in hand and the Bible in the other hand..
Muslims nowadays are very ignorant of thier religion. If mulims have the willing to leave Islam why there are many Muslim comunities in the non-Muslim countries, the fear should disaprear there.
When Muslims have the min level of Islamic Education that will let him/her understand the objective of Religion (or existnce) s/he will be protected fomr the deviation.

Once people get a tiny taste of FREEDOM from oppression such as communism, slavery, or a cult, like islam they bolt to the light! If you notice, through out history, even modern history, the tyrants best device of control is found in keeping the masses IGNORANT. Any method is deemed proper to ensure the masses from learning. Murder, fear, threats against loved ones, etc. are approved tools for that purpose.

1) what does it matter? nothing logically follows from this question one way or another because the popularity or unpopularity of any belief or religion or judgment is not evidence one way or another as to its truth value.

2) you offer no evidence that muslims are quick to comment on reports describing islam as increasing.

3) you offer no scientific statistical analysis to show muslims parade these reports on the internet. you further offer no evidence to suggest they make the counter-arguments you atttribute to them nor for that matter 'any excuse they can think of'.

4) you say :some of them are born and raised as muslims'. this is true of all religions. the vast majority of converts you say are children of mulsims. it seems hard to believe that this isn't true of every other religion as well. it seems the most likely source for new converts in any religion are precisely the children of those people practising that religion. on waht grounds do you apply this exclusively to islam?

5) why is it indoctrination when someone converts to islam? this sounds like just a scare word to me.

6) 'some are people who convert to islam briefly' you say. this is true for all religions. every religion has some people that convert to it briefly.

7) 'but then change their mind and leave islam'. but this is true for every other religion. every religion has some people leaving it.

in short, all you've done is pick out attributes of most religions, and ascribe them to islam but with negative words attached. your other premises have no evidence in their favor. moreover, even if everything you descrribe is true, nothing logically follows from it about islam since as i said, the popularity of a belief is not related to its truth value. that's basic logic. anyone with an elementary critical thinking class under their belt can find 10 or so fallacies in your argument.
