NO!!! I know everyone is spouting theories about it, but I honestly don't see why Harry would HAVE to die. There's no reason for that. The prophecy, which Dumbledore told Harry wasn't necessarily true, but Voldemort took it as true, just said "neither can live while the other survives", which would mean EITHER Harry or Voldemort would have to die. Of course it has to be Voldemort--how can you finish a series with the evil wizard still alive and the good one/main character dead? I'm not saying she can't do it, but can you imagine the outrage of the fans of the series if she killed Harry? After they've invested all these years in the books and the characters?
Seriously, I don't think so. But no one knows for sure, of course.

well there are so many possibilities. but as many people have probly said already. harry has got to be a horcrux and voldemort can only be killed when all the horcruxes are gone. so im guessing that harry hes to sacrifice himself in order for voldemort to die. nd i also think dumbledore is still alive. in the end of the sixth book it says that harry saw a white phoenix flying through the sky at dumbledores funeral. so im guessing he'll come back. but eveyone will see soon.

im not sure, but initially i was convinced*and the theory is still in the back of my mind* that harry himself is a horcrux, and he will have to kill himself and have ron and hermione or, more likely, Severus Snape do the job, I think snape might be a good guy... one of the horcruxes is still in Grimmauld place btw..it says in bk 5 that there was a locket nobody cud open..THATs the real locket!!
so the horcruxes are hufflepuff's cup, ravenclaw's thing,the diary(destroyed), nagini,the locket,marvolo's ring and voldy's soul inside him...
however, if he hasnt anything of ravenclaw's, i think HARRY is the horcrux..'cause JKR said she had been planning the 2 deaths in the book so that no1 wud b able 2 continue.. plus 2 characters are coming back.. so check that out...

60% he does
i think rowling might want to end the book and i mean really end it coz it is the last book
so if he does die, there will be no book 8 or smthin like that.
plus diehard fans wouldnt be stressing out about what happens after happily ever after if he dies
so yeah
60% he does
