When the man is in charge there are a lot less arguments, no need for "compromises", and it makes it easier on the woman because she does not have to make decisions.

If you mean the man is the head of the house and not a bully then I would agree with that. There is no such thing as a 50/50 relationship. There has to be respect for each other or there will be a toxic relationship.

it depends on the sort of person you are- if you want to be looked after then there is nothing wrong with having a relationship where the man is in charge or the guy may want the women in charge. or if you liked to share things there is nothing wrong with going 50/50

There is no strait answer to this question. It all depends on the personalities involved. Obviously if someone has a very demanding personality he/she is not going to be comfortable in a 50/50 relationship. If someone is more submissive they are going to be comfortable in a relationship where the other person is in charge.

it truly depends on the situation - [ man in charge? ]
"ain't nobody happy unless mama's happy" so I hear...
"Variety is the spice of life."
Even when you share and share alike - it's never gonna be 50/50 - and most times who cares about the shares as long as the bills get paid. Just get up and do something.
how about you do the dishes?
and take out the trash,
help junior with homework,
fix the ceiling fan, replace light bulbs, the porch light is out,
sort mail, pay bills, shop for food and supplies, plan menus, cook meals, clean under the beds, behind the fridge and under the stove, dust, vacuum, rearrange the furniture, pick up junior at school, darn that vacuum cleaner broke, the car won't start, the battery died, the cat chewed the phone cord in two, the dog ate the checkbook, the cat threw up more than just a wad of hairball, and both dogs pooped in your shoes, mop all the floors, get ready for the company party, who picked up the dry cleaning? gas up the car, pick up dad at the airport,
call your mother, you forgot her birthday?
you say you are not well organized enough for all that, yet you want to be in charge?
well, I can do that, too.
Don't sweat who's in charge!
give a share,
give flowers,
get a massage,
light a fire
Love is not about "who's in charge".

The only way a marriage can survive is if it 50/50. Both partners working together and no one is in charge.

Depends on who you are... for me 50/50 works just fine... I could not handle a "man in charge"
