Aquaman. It seems that there hasnt been a single comic book fan in all of hte answers other than fan boys that watch the tv show or hte movies.

Aquaman not only possess stronger strength than Spiderman, Aquaman is also the 2nd highest telepath in the DCU. This is how he is able to control animals, not "talk".

Aquaman has also lost his weakness out of hte water a long time ago when he got hte "Hand of Water" story arch. He can stay out of hte water for hours at time and aquaman is trained in martial arts, something spiderman isnt. Even in teh latest Civil War issues, Spiderman has always reacted with speed and agility, not training. In hand to hand combat, Authur Curry would win.

While spiderman can retreat at will and run away, in a straight head to head battle, aquaman would win. Aquaman has taken down superman by flooding hte lungs of superman with water and taking him down. Same concept with spiderman. Aquaman also has enchanced strength and defense, much more than spiderman. This fight is a no brainer. If nessesary, Authur curry can just get close and scramble Spiderman's brains before he even knew what was going on.

Current Aquaman? Not sure, don't really follow the character.

The Aquaman from 5-10 years ago? The Aquaman in the Justice League animated series? This is the angry badass who cut off HIS OWN HAND and replaced it with a harpoon. Completely not gay, and not to be underestimated at ALL.

But who would win? Aquaman's much stronger than Spidey, even on land, though Spidey's beaten opponents who are stronger than him before.

I'd say Spidey has the advantage on land, but take him anywhere near water, it's Aquaman.

Spider Man, unless he's on water or under water. Because Aquaman's powers are pretty much useless (come on, the ability to talk to fish? And how is being able to breathe underwater going to help you if you're fighting on land). The only power Aquaman has that even comes close to being useful is the whole controlling water thing, but Spiderman's fought Hydroman, and his power is pretty much the same as Aquaman's. They both have super strength, so that's not a factor, unless Aquaman's much stronger, but I doubt that.

it would be an elemental battle,,,

if it was one dry land, Spiderman would win in a heart beat...

but to make things interesting..let's say that aquaman got spidey near water...

aquaman's powers consist of breathing underwater and communicating with various underwater wildlife..

his strength probably is a lil stronger than a normal mans seeing how he is able to withstand that pressures of the water's below.

Now spiderman's speed and webs would be negated under water...water is denser than air.....which leaves his strength and his spider ssense...
if spiderman got close enough to actualy fist fight aquaman he would win..
But all aquaman would have to do is swim away and then call in a squadron of dolphins or sharks etc...
or since aquaman is a faster swimmer..he could just swim circles around spiderman..creaing a vortex that would wear spiderman out...

so on land..give me spiderman

under the sea..give me aquaman

thanks for the question

Aquaman could bring Spider-Man into the water, then hold him under until he drowned. He is stronger than Spider-Man as well, so he could stymie the web-slinger's attempts to free himself. What people aren't getting is that besides the aquatic telepathy, Aquaman also has superhuman strength(you would have to, to do the same things regular people do above water, below it) and that his superhuman strength is greater than Spider-Man's.

Spiderman. there's a ask your self vs DC comedian, the place Spidey combat against Superboy (which extra or much less has comparable potential with superman) and win with the help of outsmart him. So i think of the end result would be an identical with Superman. Spiderman's stunning 'potential' is his genius scientist innovations in spite of everything. As with Batman.. i do no longer comprehend. They the two sensible, yet i think of Spidey will nonetheless win.

Sadly, Aquaman would have the upperhand in this fight. Spider-Man shoots web and web is powerless against water. The water soften the web and therefore the it loses it's strength.
