People are people. We each may have different customs, religions and/or beliefs, but we are all the same animal. We all have the same basic needs for food & shelter and usually the need to be loved.
Division of people by their geographic origins, religious backgrounds, political beliefs, gender, sexual orientation or skin color, is simply wrong. Call it racism, sexism or whatever you will, it is just ignorance or hatred of those that are different that you.

I live in the San Fernando Valley where there are tons of Armenians. My personal opinion is Armenian people have an all armenian club, I have met lots of them and all of them say they raise their kids with the concepts that they have to be friends and marry armenians only, I have asked if an Armenian girl decides to marry a white guy what happens?, they told me it's just not happening. To me that's a club. I understand they freak out about the genocide and etc, but nowadays no race is completely pure so I don't know why they are so freaked out about not mixing their blood.
I have to say I haven't been able to make one single armenian friend they politetly reject me because I am not armenian and I have met armenians I really want to be friends with. From my point of view that's not cool. Another thing is the whole money concept. It also looks like everything in Armenian society is about having money, I had a coworker who told me in Armenian culture you cannot give a gift for less than 100 dlls and you can't have a "cheap" wedding.
Still, I respect all of this, what I cannot stand about Armenians is the fact that they speak their language between them in front of people who cannot understand them. That is completely rude, I know they don't think is rude but it is!, Armenians should speak english when they are in front of english speakers otherwise it looks like they are speaking about you. It's really rude, if you are armenian and you are reading this please stop doing that, it's not polite and it makes english speaking people feel uncomfortable.
But don't get me wrong, I like a lot of armenians and I love System of a Down :p. It's just a pitty I cannot be good friends with them.

I feel so lucky to be Armenian. Contrary to what people said about Armenians forming a "club" I am only half and are treated just like everyone else. You will find people in every culture that don't want there kids to marry out of it. Especially with us. We don't want our culture to die!
Also, someone else said that Armenians shouldn't speak Armenian in front of others. If you are going to call out Armenians on that, you should probably call out everyone else who does it, like the people who own businesses and talk about the customers.

The turks killed many Armenians in 1915-17 and covered it up. I generally has positive feelings for Armenians and Kurds.

I wasn't going to say anything, but I have to now. Two people made the mistake, and one of them called the wrong nation stupid! Irony!
ARMENIANS not
AMERICANS.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armenians
I've personally heard of Armenians, it was in a negative view point.
But... I just don't know anything about them. I know supposively they have bad teeth, they're ugly, etc... but that's just what I've been told.
I have nothing against Armenians. And the generalizaton I've heard doesn't apply to everyone called an Armenian! In fact, I'm sure I was just listening to a racist or something. I'm not going to let them shape my viewpoint on something I know nothing about.
Just like us FAT, KFC-eating, corrupt, EVIL AND STUPID Americans who are apparently the very IMAGE of evil; there're few ethnicies that don't have negative stereotypes.

I don't know any Armenians personally, but do all the females look like Kim Kardashian? She is spectacular. If you don't know who she is, she is in that sex tape with Ray J and a friend of Paris Hilton. The latter is unfortunate.
