I snitched on two kids I saw tearing open bags and releasing Betas into a community tank at Wal Mart. Lucky the attendent was close by but the mother of the kids was furious at me for getting her precious little angels in trouble.

actually my brothers did this when they won two beta fishes from a fair and didn't know that you couldn't put them together. So they were in a bowl together, and they fought until one literally killed and ate part of the other, it was disgusting. then the survivor ended up dying shortly after from injuries. moral of the story is don't do it--all beta fish i have had ever since have been fine for a while.
rip mr. bojangles!

No. But I have put up a mirror so my beta could see his reflection. It was cool. He puffed out and attacked the glass. I do that every now and then. I know . . . I''m deceiving the poor guy. He's probably been messed up for life.
