i prefer the bagged vacuums. you can purchase one for around $40 at walmart. the bagless ones tend to cause more of a mess then the bag ones because when you empty them they "spray" dust / dirt particles in the air that you don't see.

Ahhhh yes ! I currently have a Panasonic upright vacuum cleaner and it is the best so far has very good suction power and was inexpensive, paid about one hundred ten for it it is light weight and maneuvers very easily around the house, I love this vacuum, I plan on getting another Panasonic soon but this time I will purchase a bagless model I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone. I would suggest purchasing one that is bagless and has hepa filters. They do not blow the dust around when vacumming and are easy to empty. Great for people with allergies.
There are several out there for around $100. You can try Meijer, Sears, Kmart, Walmart or other local discount stores.
You don't need to spend alot of $$ get a good one.
You can also rinse the hepa filters once in a while so they last longer between replacing them (saves money too!)

Hoover Wind Tunnel $129 at Walmart. Don't even look at the bagless ones. They are a nightmare.
