When we arrived in America, there were plenty of resources to plunder. This is an "easy take" situation. It acted as a catalyst, stoking the economy. China is now in a similiar situation, with their massive amounts of natural resources. But in America there aren't as many resources as there once was. Yet, we are devoted to using lots of resources as a country. If we are running out of resources, will capitalism begin to turn on itself, exploiting it's populace because of the inherent need for the "easy take principle" to continue? Consider the analogy of a Fatman. He has a large apetite, and sees lots of resources (food) to plunder when he arrives in the USA. When the resources begin to run out, he runs out of food and begins to starve. However, his apetite must be satisfied, so his cells begin to eat his organs. He dies, and the land is devestated.
The only way out of this scenario is to mange resources wisely.
Also, is the war in Iraq an example of the "easy take principle"?

As one 11 per center to another ( as you continue onward with YA, you will find that you will still average only 11% Best Answers)....this is a big question with a kicker at the end....anyway...here goes.....
Capitalism is looking for markets all over the world. It needs people to flourish. That's why China and India get all the attention.
Capitalism works, as opposed to other forms which have been tried but failed.
Ultimately, Capitalism will run out if the world's situation changes (i.e Climate Change, massive devastation, Nuclear War).
It is my hope, and fervent prayer, that Capitalism shifts course and finds way to save earth and make mankind work in harmony with the resources of earth to the betterment of both.
What we have now is Capitalism unbridled and running amuck. Capitalism under control would be capable to work wonders. Run-away Capitalism, which is so many dollars and other currencies with little backing...can cause economic turmoil if some disaster strikes.
The Iraq prolongation is yet another example of Capitalism's desire to exploit military for it's effects on stimulating the rest of the economy. There are other safer and better means to achieve resolution in that war torn area.
With top heavy corporations now ruling the roost, Capitalism is working against the foundations upon which is was built...the struggling middle to lower classes in need of respite.

Capitalism is unique because it utilises its recources to the maximum extent, though it exploits the resources the private entrepreneurs and business are paying it through social responsibility, if we could not exploit the resources there will not be employment, taxes and development of the society, and even china and russia has realised the importance of capitalism that they want the change, India is a mixed economy and the question or resources is vague, if America doesnt use the resources some one else will, but still there is a lot of energy conversation practices, a lot of companies like Chevron, BP are trying to save energy, Nuclear deals are coming and in India and many developing countries, wind mills and alternative sources are being established, and we cannot discount the fact that we do not need natural resources, General Motors has come up with Hybrid cars and there is a lot of developments in Solar energy and energy conversation methods, The question of using a lotta resources is a good question, as emphasised by Thomas Robert Malthus the population will oustrip the means...so due to population we are forced to use more energy and resources and due to that multinationals are on the verge of giving the customer what he wants, The FATMAN example doesnt work here, globalisation has made it a point that scarcity in one market can be made up with another market, and that is the same thing that Wal-mart did, If captured the other markets for its cheap resources .i.e labour and land. The war in Iraq was actually a mistake by the CIA that Iraq had Weapons of Mass distruction and hence the way, not because of resources, all though resources were also a point but the main point was Weapons of Mass destruction, Globalisation has been debated all this while, but capitalism is better than using the resources in a modest way and capturing the markets rather than communism where the government does not do much of a deal, Brazil, Russia, India and China are growing only because of Foreign Direct investment, employment and optimun utilisation of resources

Every system has a flaw. Capitalism happens to be the least flawed system in the world today. It is also the strongest, beating out communism, socialism, and fascism. It is partly what made this country the greatest in the history of the world. This country GDP (Gross Domestic Product) is over 10 trillion dollars a year. That is more than all the developed countries combined. And the fear of diminishing resources is just that; unjustified fears. We live on a planet with an unlimited amount of resources. Yes! I said unlimited. We have yet to tap .01% of the earth's resources as of today. There are new developments and invention being discovered as of today.
The flaw is that nearly everything is at our fingertips and we as a society are becoming fat and lazy. I do not equate with the ramblings of the Unabomber or other leftist groups who would rather have us go back to the Stone Age and gather rocks for a living or live with no electricity. On the contrary, I enjoy the conveniences of life. I am just saying that we need to do it in moderation. Turn off the TV. and enjoy the outdoors. Take a walk or go to the park with family and friends. To get rid of the stress in life, join a gym and workout or jog around the neighborhood. We have become too addicted to these conveniences. I enjoy watching an episode on one of my favorite TV. series, watching a good movies with my wife eating popcorn on the couch or ordering a pizza delivered in thirty minutes or less.
It is time for us to do it in moderation and it starts with you.

Nope, communism was flawed because it was an easy give system. That's why its pretty much failed. Even china has its equivalent of wall street, the soviet Union failed as well due to finances, that leaves a couple of hard core countries like North Korea and Cuba as hold out, and those people don't have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out.

You make a lot of good points. There are many flaws to capitalism but it is well known that incentive (the ability to increase earnings and property) are the only things that will get people out of bed on a regular basis. We need to find a balance.

All systems of society are incorrect. some better than others. even although, to this element capitalism has been the least incorrect. What has created the imbalance is the government getting too in touch in how the interior maximum sector works. the reason the government has gotten so in touch is by technique of the fact too many electorate deffered their guy or woman responsibilites. shoppers might desire to take duty for their loss of understanding some provider or product. the government does not understand anymore than you. those in government placed their pants on one leg at a time, too. electorate might desire to feed their very own families and pay for their very own coaching. It builds potential and innovativeness. agencies won't behave precariously in the event that they don't have a backstop. in the event that they screw up they might desire to fail. business enterprise shouldn't get any favors. as an occasion getting law that for the period of basic terms advantages them and not their opposition. especially plenty, Capitalism might artwork plenty extra useful if the electorate weaned themselves off the government teat. we've been residing in a capitalist gadget attempting to bypass socialistic for over 40 years.

Somewhat yes, but its the only system which works. Communism has failed, of which the former USSR is a living example.
