"All about Greed?" If he was all about greed, then why was he homeless? "Like when he walks up to the guy with the cool car and says "man what do you do" or something to that effect" That just shows that he is trying to be like him. Not to be greedy. that's a weak statement. He's looking for a way to support his kids when he is able to have money, a job, and not just a sports car. "How about providing for your family?" He was providing his family. It jsut fell apart. Throughout the movie, you see him trying to do that. "Any father who willingly lets his child live in a train station bathroom or in a homeless shelter should have their kid taken from them." Again, life is not full of riches. Sometimes it falls apart. He was homeless. He didn't have money. Do you expect him to have omney magically appear? "He shouldn't have fallen for that bone density scanner scam in the first place. If you are a father you need to provide for your family, not put your wishes ahead of them(car)" Again, he was trying to get a job. He can't bring in the scanner. Sometimes life needs sacrifice. This time for him, it was a good scarifice because it got him the job. "And the only reason he succeeded was because he was a genius to begin with, any one else watching it would probably not succeed as he did" Agreed. So the moral is, he was a good father trying to support his kids. Going to school will help you. Not everyone is the same person. "What I'm saying is, he should have just gotten a job at McDonalds so his kid wouldn't have to sleep in a bathroom. Thats providing for your family. Luckily for him it worked out in the end, but possibly scarred his kid for life in the process." Dude your kidding right? HE WAS HOMELESS. He could not just leave his kid on the street while he was working at McDonalds. Anyways, he can't support himself with just McDonalds. They only have minimum wage. That won't even support himself. That's what I've been saying all along. He was smart because he got a great job to support him and his kids using his smarts. Don't say no more because you really sound like a joke.

YES!! I thought it was the best movie I've ever seen. It portrayed 2 very powerful things that no movie I've ever seen before quite accomplished.

1. A father's love for his son and the amazing things it can motivate people to do.

2. The American dream that we are promised by are founding fathers.
