Ok let me clarify, because only one person understood the explanation, it is called the end of days, not the end of the world, they never said it was the end of teh world, nor did I.

Eschatology is the doctrine of the last days. It is the dramatic end of human history and the beginning of eternal salvation. When you, an individual arrive at that point in time, human history and the appearance of the Son or man (who is God) come together. This will happen in you after the tribulation of human experience, and of that day and hour only the Father in you knows.

Eschatology will never be understood as long as one looks for someone on the outside to fulfill it. It can only be understood when one, personally experiences it. Then one will tell their experiences to those who will listen, and some will believe, while others disbelieve.

Eschatology is not the end of the world, as people believe. In 1969 a crowd left California and moved to Georgia and parts east, believing an earthquake would suddenly appear which would completely inundate us, and for the first time in recorded history, the east experienced an earthquake which shook twelve states.

Eschatology is not the end of the earth, but the end of human history and the beginning of eternal salvation. It is the abrupt cleavage between this world and the transcendental world of God. It is an entrance into an entirely different world where one radiates God’s glory.

ah, eschatology. the mayans had it, the christians had it, lots of religions have it.

a belief in a final culmination of time and the universe, a separation of the righteous from the unrighteous, etc.

the problem of course is that its all crap. if the mayan gods were so powerful and real and their predicted end of days was actually going to occur, then the mayans wouldn't have been wiped out would they. in fact, the mayans have already had their 'end of days'...they had cool carvings, though.

anyway, what the hell is this question doing in philosophy? it should be in religion and spirituality. random crap? this question is random crap. btw, random doesn't have an e in it.

now go back to wherever it was you came from.

Man's war with God, Himself. The system as we know it will be cleansed from the earth as the flood had. Only those doing God's will at the time will survive. Later, those in God's memory will be resurrected to a paradise earth. Satan will have been abyssed with his hoards. And a new earth ( system) will dawn...

If you follow it backwards...... You'll be able to get a pretty clear understanding of what will happen... or what has happened during each interval. Perhaps not exactly the same will happen but the magnatude of which, will most likely be similar.

If they would have survived until then, the next day they would have taken down the calender and put up another, that is unless it really was the end of days.

If it will truly be The End, it will not matter what anyone thinks.

Perhaps that's as far as the Mayans were able to, or cared to calculate, so they simply called it 'The End". They figured that none of them were going to be around anyway, so who cared?

Mayan end of days are closely connected to Celestine prophecy and Tarabic prophecies.
To be clearer and make this subject easier I will do emphasis on all three at once in parts they are connected, from Mayan part I will take Dresdner codex, from Celestine prophecy 10 truths and from Tarabic prophecies all writings connected to our future.

End of days began with end of Pisces and beginning of Aquarius. Pisces the inner 2 faced self turned to energetic highly mobile Aquarius. Beginning of 2000, new age.
2004 beginning of sick earth, started by human mistake, earth is out of natural ballast, overpopulated, on the end of known energetically resources with more small turnovers, call them wars and political intrigues assisted with TV and the net, as I said time of Aquarius.
The end of days do not referee of end of earth but on the end of the world and mind we know up to now, energetically we are going from blue to silver energy color.
Not good for nature, for most of population not good as well because we are on edge from one thing to another.
Tarabic prophecies saying that everything what will happened to us will be revealed trough massive changes, that most of us will just look on TV and as big they will be we'll be fanatic and without sympathy for the matters it self, to say easily no one will see although we'll be looking.
I am sorry to say but it will be major earthquakes, wars and destruction, but as I said we'll be apatic for our fellow human beings, for all things out of our near we won’t care.
Don't you think we are going just in that direction?
On the other side Celestine prophecies are talking of getting spiritual knowledge trough turnovers, more of ugly reality news we'll get more closed in our inner self’s, we'll start to ask the highly spiritual questions, the question of life, we want find it in politics, in technology in our religions we’ll find it as real Aquarius will do if secretly in side our mind, following the path of intellectual growth we'll reach the new stage the new age the new time, learning the TROUTH, if we do not destroy this beautiful planet before we get there.

I wish you love, health and happiness.
