Well, I have T-Mobile prepaid and I started with the Nokia 6101 (until I broke it..) and then my friend gave me a Nokia 6030. I believe the phone used to be on a "normal" plan, but they are both on the prepaid phones list, " http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/Phones/Prepaid.aspx " and I just slipped by SIM card from my old phone into the other and it worked fine. However, I was wondering if I could use the Slvr L7 for the prepaid (could I just slip my SIM card into a brand new L7 and have it start working?) Notice the L7 is not on the prepaid phones list, but I was wondering if that really made a difference? ***So do you think I could buy a new L7 off eBay and have my prepaid account work in it? (would it need to be activated somehow?) Thanks!!

I use a SLVR L6 T-Mobile prepaid. Works Great.
Your L7 will work as long as it is unlocked.
You can unlock the L7 on ebay.

You just call to make sure whether your slvr L7 is a sim-unlocked GSM phone. If it is, you can call to transfer and activate your prepaid account on it, as the T-mobile is based on GSM tech. If you would like, please learn more about sim cards or cell phone at http://www.pandasim.com/

if it isn't on the list then i'd say no. but you can call the company and ask then. you may need to tell them the serial numbers for it to be activated.
