Is it, the total team, the management, the coach, the captain or what?

Is it the time that the Whole Indian team members should remove their hair and sent to GAYA for cremation of their cricketing gears and to take oath that they will never play cricket again?

What you all people think?

The management ,selection board are mostly responsible for exit from W\C.It is time to realise the truth. They should change their attitude ,give the chance the player to play who are really talented.

I hate to say I told you so. Way back in November on this forum I said India couldn't win this world cup.
Despite the apparent similarities of sub-continent and Carribbean pitches, they are not. In the West Indies the pitches are more variable, sometimes more lively, and much more subject to the effects of rain.
It was apparent 12 months ago when India lost a ODI series in the Carribbean that their preperations were of course, and they didn't adjust. At the end of the day, you have an incredibly talented batting line-up, but with over inflated egos, over confident, and reliant upon the backing of their home support. India fail away from home on an all to regular basis. They need to learn to work as a team, support each other better, and play for partnerships, not personal glory.
Also the bowling has been sub-standard for a while. They are good international bowlers, but not really a world class bowling line-up capable of running through classy batsmen. They proved it over the last year and a half, it was highlighted against the Windies and Australia in the DLF cup, and has been shown to be true here.
India need a complete restructure, and new approach, and hopefully for the good of the game in India it can be done in time for them to win the World Cup at home in 2011.

Indian team in Mentally weak, you cant blame anyone on that if they arnt mentally tough. Its a natural thing.
TREMENDOUS PRESSURE ON TEAM INDIA is the reason.

I will still support Team India. No matter what happened!!!
Common they need our support, especially in bad times.

We all know that the line up which India had, was one of the best India have ever seen, no doubt about that. Why does everyone forget, when Indian team moves on the Field they go in there with expectations of billions of Indians back home. Honestly speaking, be4 the start of the yesterdays match, i was really nervous as it was a must win game for India, my body was shivering a bit. Just imagine how much pressure the players themselves would be feeling, who have to play for India.

The reason behind the worst performance ever by the Indians is the pressure of billions of expectations back in India.

When they were sent off for the world cup with various kind of big events which included SRK, priyanka Chopra and other big celebrities in front of big crowd wishing them good luck for the big event, but nobody thought by doing these kind of things just be4 the world cup is nothing more than adding more and more pressure to the team India. Team India witnessed the high expectations from the Indian public, which put them under tremendous pressure.

We all know our team is not mentally tough which is proven by their record in the finals and crunch matches, even batsman like searching fails to deliver in big games. No one could do much about this problem, its NATURAL. When there is pressure on you, you cannot give your best. Isn't it??

I believe Indian players should start doing things like meditation and yoga, which increases the mental toughness, concentration and things like self confidence Immensely.

There isn't any nation other than India, where cricket is just like a religion which is loved by billions of Indians. Other teams doesn't come in the world cup with that kind of pressure which Indian players bears.

Captaincy, to some extent, yes! While Dravid has got the mechanics of captaincy right, he lacks the dynamics - the "out of the box" thinking so necessary to win consistently. However, he deserves appreciation for the dignified manner in which he has conducted himself, even in defeat.

However, to prolong Dravid's international career, I think he should step down from captaincy, just like Sachin did in 1999. Probably both Sachin and Dravid should quit one-day cricket and concentrate on their Test careers.

Ganguly should be made the new captain. VVS Laxman should be brought back as vice-captain. Time to give young huns like Manoj Tewary and S.Badrinath a chance.

Bowling has, by and large, been responsible and I don't think the bowlers or the coach can do much if the batsmen don't do their job.

dravid's leadership was not good Sachin should have opened with ganguly , dravid himself should have come at no 3, pathan should have played from the very first match, kumble should have been included in the side instead of harbajhan. not only dravid but each and every player is responsible for the defeat , no one could have imagined such performance after all we have 3 batsmen who have scored more than 10,000 runs in ODI

Discipline was not their in Indian team
fault of all the three team, management and coach
They should be given way to home and new boys to be given chance and they should be told to perform or they shall be kicked. Money flow should be control according to there performance.

Dravids leadership was'nt good. The setting of the team was extremely bad! The coach also had a major role in this and because of that Chappel is no more coach!
