The same composition as that of your toe/finger nails. Some stories have the unicorn with a gold or silver horn; not wood.

None of the above. It is made out of a sacred material that is similar to the material that dragon's scales are made of. It isn't the same as the material of their hooves, because a unicorn's horn is more fragile. It isn't fragile like glass, but...sort of like a hardened ceramic's toughness.
It is an iridescent white color, so it isn't gold, either. I have heard of golden coloring in some of the older ones, as well as a less shiny appearance to a young colt whose horn is just emerging.
I hope that this helps.

Unicorn horns aren't made of ivory, prior to common belief!!!! If you think a unicorn is just a simple horse with a horn, you are completely wrong. They are made of something called 'alicorn' "...made of a cellulose fiber mixture and graphite. Then, depending upon the unicorn, layers are added of one or more of the following items: Clays, calcium carbonate, mica, silicas, and talcs. These items are held in suspension with a binder, commonly referred to as a vehicle, and are responsible for the color(s), toughness and texture of the horn" Alicorns were widely believed to have magical healing properties around the time of the renaissance, so many traders searched for such things and even cut off other creatures 'horn' such as the narwhal, but Alicorns are NOT made of keratin or ivory. What they are truly made of is unknown for certainty, as unicorns only reveal themselves to those purist of hearts who would obviously not chop their horn of if they ever encountered one. Alicorns where grounded up and considered very special and where usually owned by people of great wealth, such as Kings. Unicorns can survive without their horns, but not for very long. They do not 'drop their horns' like a deer, despite having many deer-like features, because their horn is their way of communicating. Whatever you do, please please please never call a Unicorn just a 'horse with a horn' The Unicorn is one of the only mythical beasts not based on the fears of man.

Unicorn horn is made out of silver, like the ones in the first Harry Potter game, Silver Unicorn horns.
They also could be made out of moonbeams, and cosmic energy, and also a vaccine for genital herpes.

None of these. It's horn has magical powers but it is made of the same materials that are used to make that of bull or a cow.
