My parents seem to think my brother is so perfect. With a wife, kid, college degree, in the military, good job, etc.. I feel that when I'm around them that they look down on me. Because I'm not anything like him. Is your family anything like that?

I'm not jealous, I don't want his life. I was just curious if this happens to others.

evaluate sitting down along with your mom (and pa?) while they're obtainable and in oftentimes sturdy moods. Or tell your mom you need to talk to her on my own while she had it sluggish. show your concerns. no longer, that your sister have been given different issues you probably did no longer yet, you notice regulations that are diverse with regard to you. additionally, your moms and dads are doing no favors by utilising letting your brother sleep in or giving your sister those issues. you're gaining expertise of a thank you to grow to be a in charge person. this is your moms and dads objective. Your brother would by no ability desire to awaken for a job he will sometime have. Your sis would by no ability comprehend the fee of a dollar. in simple terms recognize deep down that those regulations your moms and dads have are reaping rewards you whether it does look unfair what you have now. you would be a waiting person with the kit your moms and dads are instilling in you. sturdy success!

My mom has always loved my younger sister more. Now we are all grown up and she is still taking care of her. It hurts, but I am stronger for it. I will never do this to my kids when I have them.

my younger sibling is a prize kid.
so even if they favour her,i don't mind.
i love her too much.
but i don't think my parents favour her or anything but yes they appreciate her for being more meticulous at her age and i agree with them.
so there's no friction at home.
thanks.

cheers & god bless:-)
