When Yoplait wants to raise money for breast cancer, why do they want our drool covered lids? Am I the only one who cringes at the commercials depicting women slobbering all over the lids before mailing them in? And before you ask, no, I don't have a life. So go ahead and try to make fun of me because I just stole all your thunder HAHAHA! p.s. I'm not against breast cancer donations, just gooey lids.

I think it's a huge waste of time and resources. I too find the whole notion rather disgusting and I hope the women (and men) who send these lids in at least give them a rinse off with a bit of hot water and soap. Why they don't just donate a percentage from the yogourt sold and have done with it is baffling . Unless this is their pretzel logic;make women aware of breast cancer and feel personally responsible for the possibility of a cure by giving us busy work.

i agree...why don't they just donate a chunk of their profits to breast cancer research instead of making us send in worthless (and gooey) lids that they're just gonna throw away anyways. Wouldn't that make more sense? And that why we don't have to pay postage to send our garbage through the mail......

some people can wash them off. I don't lick things. But I don't understand how giving them lids will earn money.
