Which would you rather be? Explain. No saying neither.
What do you think the world would be like? This question is a little tricky because some people assume that Mormonism and J.W. is the same religion and it's not.

No they are not the same, I was a Mormon, I was baptized when I was 9 years old. I left under protest because my mother did.
As the years went by, I started attending other churches and asking questions.
By the time I was 15, I had been kick out of or asked not to come back from more church leaders than I can remember.
Why?
Because I wanted answer from the bible and their response was "Have you been talking to Jehovah's Witnesses?"
I would then ask, "if they have the answers then tell me how to find them?"
They found me in the door to door work over 30 years ago.

I would like to be what I am, a JW. Why? Because we are the only ones who preach from door to door to spread the good news as Jesus told us to do.

"Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit." -- Matthew 28:19

"But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these righteousness is to dwell." -- 2 Peter 3:13

"While I did not hold back from telling YOU any of the things that were profitable nor from teaching YOU publicly and from house to house. " -- Acts 20:20

"But he said to them: “Also to other cities I must declare the good news of the kingdom of God, because for this I was sent forth."" -- Luke 4:43

"And every day in the temple and from house to house they continued without letup teaching and declaring the good news about the Christ, Jesus." -- Acts 5:42

We are very different from Mormons. The confusion comes from the lack of knowledge.

Mormon.
Maybe because I am one :-)

Plus, Mormonism is very much a hopeful and an optimistic religion. Our idea of heaven is probably the best I've heard of, and its one which seems to include both justice and mercy through Christ the way they should both be included (good people are rewarded even if they don't "believe," but faithfulness is required for the top degree of glory--none of this "you're going to hell if you're not a member of my congregation"). I don't think I could handle the doom and gloom of the JWs (no offense intended).

LDS and happy to be here.

I have no beef with what Jehovah's Witnesses believe, I just don't believe a lot of it.

I never heard of anybody that confused Mormon and JW.
I will pick neither; if those were the only two religions, I would have to start a 3rd one based on what the Bible actually says, not what watchtower or Joseph Smith says it means.

I would become a Witness for the same reasons I decided to be one. I love reading and learning and sharing about the Bible.

PS to Laurel W, obviously you dont know my beliefs any better than I know yours so please don't waste time misstating them. No offense.

I would rather be dead because this way I would not have to listen to them saying who religion is right and who is wrong.

Neither, just because they are the only two, doesn't mean I have to be a member of either. I'm a leader, NOT a follower.
