volume of cylinder = area of base * depth of cylinder

area base = diameter ^ 2 multipilied to pi / 4 or
radius ^ 2 multiplied to pi

where pi = 3.1416

given:

diameter = 28 m
height or depth = 7 m

solution:

1.
volume of tank = (28^2 * pi/4) * 7 = 4310.27... cu.m.

2.
volume of tank = (28/2)^2 * pi * 7 = 4310.27...cu.m.

you poor thing

THe equation for volume of a cylinder is 3.14X.5D squared
so this answer is 3.14X.5X7X.5X7X28 = 1077.02 meters cubed
