I got used to my Asian system which determine weights in kilogram. In the United they used pound (lbs) as the unit for weight. I want to know my weight in kilogram. Anybody know a way to calculate weight in pounds to kilogram?

1 kg = 2.2 lbs. or

1 lb. =0.45 kg

sample problem:

convert 50 kg to lb.

50 kg x (2.2 lb / 1 kg) = 110 lbs.

convert 110 lbs. to kg

110 lbs x (1 kg / 2.2 lbs) = 50 kg.

Roughly speaking, it's 2.2 pounds per kilo or you can just use the Lbs / Kg converter:

weight in pounds / 2.2 pounds per kilogram = weight in kilograms
