sounds to me like he is totally afraid of commitment and that he isn't looking for a relationship so he wants to have fun with these girls so that he doesn't feel too lonely. That would be fine as long as he is upfront and telling these girls what the deal is instead of leading them and letting them think that something more couldcome of the relationship.

Yes, he sounds like a loner but also, he tries relationships, too. I think that adage about how 'there's a lid for every pot' is true - finding the right person is a matter of luck but when you find the person at the right time in your life, something clicks. It will probably happen that way for him, too.

No, shallow people are relationship jumpers. They go from one to another like popcorn. Zip, zap, zowie! They usually have archaic ideas about the opposite sex. If it's a guy, women are to be meek, obedient, basically a trophy wife. Big boobs and a little brain, and sex maniacs. If it's a woman, guys are to be tough, manly, workaholics, that allow the wife to cheat without repercussions. This guy you are describing seems a bit twisted. Not shallow, or superficial, just not worth the trouble.

He is afraid of getting into relationships and not into commitments. Relationships, wheter good or bad, all have problems and I think he's sick of that. Friends, family, gfs/bfs all bring a lot of drama into your life and cause a lot of stress. he wants to avoid all that, so he's isolated himself from everyone and be loner.

It sounds like this person isn't really what you're looking for and he especially doesn't know what he's looking for. If you want to put up with it, that's up to you. I would suggest though you find someone stable who is actually looking for a relationship possibly and not just someone looking to get girls just to 'do stuff' when he gets the urge. Good luck!

Doesn't sound shallow, doesn't sound like he takes advantage of people either. Why? Well, it's not like women need to be told lies to jump into bed or whatever or that they don't like loveless ******* and relationships that are completely casual. One or two months is always loveless and casual.

He ain't strange :) In fact I think he embodies all 4 letters of male. He is insecure, afraid of commitment and only want one thing in a relationship.
