A chastity belt is basically a device to keep (mostly) girls from having sex. (They also made chastity belts for boys, too.) They were most popular during Medieval and Renaissance times. Chastity belts were made of metal and had locks on them to ensure that the wearer would not be able to take them off.

a chastity belt is some sort of underwear that was used in the 1600s and when husbands went to war they would make their wives wear that just to be sure they don't cheat on them.chastity belts also have a lock and only the husbands have the key.

In the mid-eval times the men had to go fight for war and leave their wives in for a long period of time so they put a chasity belt on them so they won't do the nasty.. is a metal panty like thingy and the men got the key to it..(and i don't think they got those no more...?)CHECK EBAY!LMAO! It's a belt that was used during the Middle Ages by royal families who put them on their wives and daughters to prevent them from having sex outside of marraige and to prevent masturbation. You can still buy them today.
