According to the Chemistry Periodical Table of Elements, there is currently 118. Now, numbers 104 to 118 are only in existence within a laboratory and created by man. They have very, very short lives.

Both previous questions are wrong. The answer is 90. If the question read "...dies man have" then they might be right. Naturally occurring elements number from Atomic Numbers 1 to 92, but don't include 43, technetium, and another element with an atomic number in the upper 80s or low 90s. Also, some of the higher man-made elements have been discredited recently due to an unethical scientist, so anything over (about) 115 is clearly wrong..
