The Nazis burnt books but couldn't destroy the literature.
They may have burnt thousands of copies of Hesses books for example but how could they burn his literature? His works were not only published in Germany but all over the world. So no literature was lost in the burning of the books. And all the books which were burnt then are now in print again in Germany and can be bought at every bookstore. In fact the only book which is forbidden in today's Germany is "Mein Kampf" by Adolf Hitler.
May he rot in hell with the knowledge that today's Germans are reading the Jewish authors, whose books he tried to burn, while his book is forbidden.

a long way correct. the a long way left advocates equality for every body irrespective of race or gender and are in opposition to faith. the Nazis aimed to create what they noticed as a 'remarkable race' all with light epidermis, blonde hair and blue eyes. so far as I understand they have been all Christian. They did this through killing anybody who did not fit this description. Doesn't sound very left wing to me. You must appear on the Functionalist and Conflict theories on sociology. The functionalist conception is from a correct wing viewpoint and argues that inequality is an inherent side of society and every person must comply with the dominant tradition (on this case the white, Germanic Protestants). Nazi Germany simply took this proposal manner manner manner too a long way and it ended up horribly. Whereas the clash conception is from a left wing factor of view they usually say that the conformity to the dominant tradition is a foul factor. I agree, when you pass too a long way on both aspect of the political spectrum you've gotten bought issues. The identical manner a long way-correct societies like Nazi Germany are terrible and oppressive, a long way left governments do extra damage than well as good. I bear in mind my possess perspectives to be left wing, however I'm now not a a long way-left communist enthusiast.

There weren't enough Jews left for them to republish their literature, plus the whole subject of Nazism and their deeds was a taboo subject for many years after the war. Many people in Germany just didn't talk about the Jews or their prior accompishments up until recent years.

Unfortunately much of the literature has been lost forever. However it should be pointed out it wasn't just Jewish literature they destroyed, but any material which was deemed to contradict Nazi ideologies, or undermine the theory of Ayrian racial superiorty.
