7x^(6/5) = 16

Divide both sides by 7:

x^(6/5) = 16/7

Raise both sides to the 5/6 power:

x = (16/7)^(5/6)

Solve:

x = 1.99152128

Whoops, you're right! I apologize for the mistake; I made a transfer error when I typed the numbers into google. Thanks for catching that : )

divide 7 for both sides
x^(6/5) = 16/7

take a power of (5/6) for both sides
x = (16/7)^(5/6)

x = 1.991521

the person above took a wrong power. She took a power of 6/5 instead of 5/6.
