Hmm, pick yourself up and go searching for new jobs. In the future though, before you quit a job, make sure that you have another one waiting on you (hey, that makes quitting even better, right?). Good luck!

What you do is make yourself a career out of finding your next job, by checking ads and talking to friends and people you know (it's called networking) and try to set up interviews and you will have to do the research for all of this. So then every day you wake up and your full time job IS to find a job because this will keep you busy and give you something to do and it should help with that suxory feeling.
In between, like when you get tired or depressed of rejections or negative results, time to find constructive stuff to do around the house, improve your home or clean it good, find projects you can do yourself and this will keep you busy while it improves looks and restore the feeling of succesful accomplishment.
Don't spend too much money, but maybe the car could use an oil and filter change (important is to be stuff to DIY) or whatever just work on stuff you been putting off and get it done, that type of thing.
Good luck

Take a short break. You deserve it. BUT, come Sunday afternoon, read the Sunday want ads, work on your resume and get busy finding another job.
I went thru a spell of unemployment in which I felt I'd never again have a decent job. Shortly thereafter, I came up with the best job I ever hand.
Suggestion. Hit a bookstore, search in the business section, and get yourself a book on resumes. Might be the best $ 25.00 you invested in yourself in a long time.
Good luck.
In 2 months i want to see a post from you telling us you are ok, and doing well in your new job.

I start a new job on Mon. The last 3 months of being unemployed were a living hell, I had my spells of where I thought I'd never get a job. But I had one great preson who stuck by me, who is my best friend, he told me to keep looking, think positive, and be confident... I listened to him and it paid off.
I had to have had atleast 10 interviews before i finally got a job. I think the last 5 I just started dishing the interviewer the bullshit I know they wanted to hear (team player, loyal, and so on)... the interviews were lasting over an hour and I finally got one.
Best of luck, and hang in there.

Do not feel bad about being unemployed. Take this time to grow and learn about what you want to do next. If you need extra cash in the meantime, you should check out my blog in the link below. It is a great way to bring in extra money every month.

Don't feel bad, at least you are less of a slave now. Hopefully you'll someday find something you like doing, and get paid for it.
