it doesn't work i hand my hand in a cast for 6 weeks when the cast came off i wen right back. my freind went to iraq got a finger shot off all he could do was use his left arm. and when the cast came off his right arm even with a missing finger his right hand went back to being domonate. he' still working on his finger movement too but it still took bak over

That is NOT the way to do it. Honest. People are born left, right, or both handed. It's heredity. However, if they want to become ambidextrous, it's called PRACTICE writing with both hands, it takes time and patience, but if determined enough, may be able to train themselves to be that way. Common sense and logic-not stupidity-like breaking their wrist! Take care.

As someone who has broken both my wrists multiple times it hasn't helped me any. But ironically when I was about 4 I broke my collarbone and was put into a device that pretty much imobilized me and all I could move were my feet so I became well versed in picking things up with my feet. So maybe it might be logical that, even though I don't recommend it, that if this was done early enough in their lives, which makes this even more ridiculous, that it might help out somewhat before your truely left/right dominant and habits set in.
