Can you imagine what life would be like with out others opinions? I believe we couldn't survive without others opinions.

Now to your question I would like to think that my opinion mattered, but reality tells me that it does to some but to most it doesn't.

the thing about opinions is that you don't have to agree or believe others opinions, but without them we would become stagnant and not grow as a person.

my grandfather use to say and I will clean it up, Opinions are like toilets some times they stink and sometimes they don't

Opinions are not made out of matter, therefore, they per se don't really matter. Unless, opinions are turned into some action, movement or a process, or a purpose that someone would strive for to achieve, they would not matter anyway.
Expression of opinion is an abstract occurrence, it's like a bird in a cage, one has to let it fly to find out how high it can go.

It depends. If my opinion benefits a person to the person it matters, if it goes against it then they would either go against it and argue, or make it not matter to them. If it is voting mine would only matter if I am on the winning side, or if I make the last vote on a draw. My opinion matters only when it is used.

I geuss it depends on if you feel its important. Why do you ask?

Perhaps Yahoo Answers needs to add different fonts to choose from. One font limits your expression. Different fonts could influence your personal decition of what opinion may be of value. Energetic and wild font may catch your attention.
I geuss it depend on the mood your are in, what font would match your mood.

Mybe future computers can read your emotions or mood. The font you see on the computer screen, changes to how your feeling, resulting in your increased attention to the screen.
It Could be used to keep the interests and attention of students in school.

Interesting question. You knew you would get opinions.

To some. It matters to me and to those who care about me, and there are those out there who feel that some of what I think has value.

yepparusey coz our opinions bring a reaction of either agreement, disagreement or discomfort from others. If it didn't matter they would look at you like a cow.

I suppose it does, because each one of us is influenced by other people's opinion.... our own opinion often is molded by what other people would think or say!!
