Thats silly. Of course you can drive. Just wear your seat belt and make sure the lap restraint is under your belly.

Of course you can! You shouldn't be driving on the way to the hospital to give birth though lol but other then that there is no reason why you shouldn't be driving. Your husband is probably just a little nervous that maybe you will start dilating and going into labor when you are out shopping or something or maybe that you will just get too worked up and wanting to take a brake, maybe a nap and that he won't be there to make sure you get home safely since you are so far along its natural for him to want to be protective

As long as you can safely sit behind the wheel of the car (i.e. the steering wheel isn't pressed into your belly but your feet touch the peddles safely) you can drive up until delivery... After delivery take a week or so off to allow yourself some healing time (not because it's unsafe but because it can be very uncomfortable and can do damage in the case of c-sections)...

Pregnant women can do anything they did before pregnancy, during pregnancy from playing softball or other sports to dancing the tango.. You may need to modify some things to accommodate your expanding stomach but otherwise the sky is the limit..

yes you can drive as long as your not in labor that is the only time you shouldnt drive. and i also drove 2 days after i got out of the hospital when i had my son i never had a problem i actually went shopping but i had a easy delivery. some people yelled at me to relax after i came home but im not the type of person to just sit around the house and feel helpless.

Of course you can, as long as you can wear your seatbelt safely, adjust yourself a bit further back. There is no reason you can't drive.

Did you say you are pregnat with 8 moths? :)

YES you can drive. I am 38 weeks pregnant and I still do everything that I could of before I was pregnant. Just cause you are pregnant don't mean that you are dead. If you still do everything that had done before hand, it will make your pregnancy easier, and not so depressing.

I'll recommend you to avoid it, as my wife had a miscarriage due to this.
This is not only your sitting position or jerks also you need complete tension free environment, where a driver some times becomes tense during driving, due to heavy traffic etc.

As long as your doctor doesn't have you on any restrictions, such as bed rest, then you should be able to drive perfectly fine! It may be a little tight behind the steering wheel, but hey, that's up to you! Good luck and congrats!

I don't think it's a law saying that you can't drive. If you go into labor and no one is home then what?

well you can drive but being so far along, its best not to go anywhere by your self because of the risk of you going into labor.
