Also is there any form of birth control thats not a pill or patch that will actualy stop your period for months if not years?

Norplant. Each bar is a years worth, and they can do up to five bars at a time.

Be careful though. A friend had this done a while back, and it really scarred up her arm. I have heard they are better at it now, but you should do some research about side effects before you make a decision.

It WAS Nora-plant but it is off the market for some reason. Not sure why? My Aunt had it for about 3 years!!!!

I believe it is called Norplan, and it is placed by your physician. I think it does have an effective life of a few years.

Just ask your doctor.

in your arm depo shots...
just having your uterus lining burnt out(sounds worse then it is) or a hys. but that's indefinate.
