My co-worker recently had to buy a new car after his old one broke down unexpectedly and the whole ordeal and financial obligations are really stressing him out and making him physically ill. I want to get him something to help him relax with the situation, but I have no idea what to get him. What do you recommend?

a good CD, a nice "manly smelly candle" and a bottle of wine, or what ever he drinks. That would make me relax!

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:

Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!

The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.

Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.

Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.

Or a gift certificate for a massage!

Maybe some type of aromatherapy. I love that stuff, the right scent can just melt the strain out of my body.

There's also stress balls, that a person can squeeze to relieve some stress. My dad, brother, and husband all love these. Maybe it's a guy thing.

I recommend a date. Men only think about sex, so pairing him up with someone that will encourage and support him and make out with him will relax him. =)

A cd, classical is good. I really like solo piano type stuff. Maybe a massaging pillow?
