The entire bunch of jokers (as rightly said by Mohinder amarnath ), and the BCCI should be responsible for playing with the emotions of the 1 billion indians. An extensive reform starting right from the domestic level, dissolving of the current board members, selectors, coach contracts, and entire bunch of 15 players is essential now.
A time has come for all of us in raising our voices and looking forward for an entire new look of the indian cricket.

It is the public that has created these ''demi - gods'' and spend so much money after them ---- making ''homas'' etc and signing the bat etc.
Leave the players alone and let it not matter if they win or lose
There are so many other imp. national issues to tackle ---- if only our people did tackle them with so much zest & enthusiam that they show for cricket, that our country will be so much better place to live in. Right ???
As it is , the so - called buch of jokers, have already madde their millions.

If we are evaluating the previous performances of India, we can clearly understand that India doesn't know how to bat on a bowling pitch. According to the level of Indian bowling, it was best performance, but due to the lack of athletic fielding, Indians conceded some extra runs, otherwise Srilankan total should be around 200 - 210. Indian batsmen has to learn how to move the score by taking singles twos especially when the wicket doesn't support for attacking shots.

According to my view, this world cup is definitely a lesson for the Indian Cricket Board, rather than making money they have to do something in favor of Indian cricket, such as producing some sporting wickets. India does have a similar climatic conditions as in Europe, Africa or any part of the world. I think then we can produce a lot of world class al rounders as well as some good batsmen and bowlers.

I think there are two main reasons for India having a shameful world cup.
1) Uthappa did not make even a dhosa ie he did not play well
2) Dhoni ka balla bilkul nahin ghooma ie he showed a poor performance in the 3 matches.
So I think Dhoni and Utthapa must be out of the Indian squad.

Indeed, it is moment of shame. Our cricket team, which was publisized as the probable world cup winning team could not even reach to the second leg of the world cup.

Shame on out team players, the Bangladesh team was playing with more team spirit than our players. They were hopefull every moment in the game and at the end they won. But we are unable to understand why our team lost the confidence.

I hate to say I told you so. Way back in November on this forum I said India couldn't win this world cup.
Despite the apparent similarities of sub-continent and Carribbean pitches, they are not. In the West Indies the pitches are more variable, sometimes more lively, and much more subject to the effects of rain.
It was apparent 12 months ago when India lost a ODI series in the Carribbean that their preperations were of course, and they didn't adjust. At the end of the day, you have an incredibly talented batting line-up, but with over inflated egos, over confident, and reliant upon the backing of their home support. India fail away from home on an all to regular basis. They need to learn to work as a team, support each other better, and play for partnerships, not personal glory.
Also the bowling has been sub-standard for a while. They are good international bowlers, but not really a world class bowling line-up capable of running through classy batsmen. They proved it over the last year and a half, it was highlighted against the Windies and Australia in the DLF cup, and has been shown to be true here.
India need a complete restructure, and new approach, and hopefully for the good of the game in India it can be done in time for them to win the World Cup at home in 2011.

After 1975, India has exited from the World cup in the first round. Dravid and co can be proud of their achievement. Indian fans can throw more stones at Dhonis house.

What next ?

I think cricket is a game and in game we sometimes loose annd sometimes win.But yes how badly the players played is shameful .Besides knowing that they live in a country where cricket is passion for everyone they gave such a bad performance. They should play well we would have not feel bad if they could make a competitive score but they didn't.
It's sometimes very shamefull.
BUT WE CAN WISH BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME

No Confidence, No Preparations, No Guts.
This is our Indiam team. Shameless!
Big names,, but no performance.

Loss and Win is a part of the game, whoever performs well at the end of the day he is the winner, so what if India loss to Bang and SL, they can still be the world champs,
How?

All the other teams in the tournament should be Bermudas in next world cup. Hopefully.. they will win.

Action should be taken against all the players whoever played badly but not on all the players.

As sreesanth and pathan kartik were not given chance they should be given another chance but what if senior players like sachin rahul sehwag world no 2 dhoni fails.

They only concentrate on money and Ad films nothing else.

BCCI should be resolved and Ex cricketers should be in the pannel not any poltician or industrialist.

Wait and watch Yuvraj will be named as captain.

first of all...don't be dejected...it's okay to lose sometimes..
by the way...they are not knocked out yet..
Bangladesh vs Bermuda is still ahead..
who knows what is in store...

india did not play well this time round...they should have done better...don't blame them all for this....

i am angry with the way Indians behaved back home after losing to BANGLADESH....
they did not play well that's why they lost to our well played team bangladesh....
and i don't think this is a good idea to attack certain players private properties or try to make the player's reputation bad..
i read news...it's terrible...
people should not do like this...

players are sent to play for their own country....if they lose...citizens should not treat the players like that....players will not feel good back home knowing this all sorts of turmoil around cricket....this is crazy....totally insane....
