First of all, the Pac-10 was as deep as it has ever been this past season (with the exception of Arizona State); six of the conference's ten teams made the NCAA field. Second, and more importantly, the team lacked steady leadership, just as it did during a similarly inconsistent campaign last year. For some reason, Lute Olsen just hasn't been able to land a quality leader since his 2000-2001 squad, powered by Luke Walton and Jason Gardner, went to the title game.

arizona basketball didnt suck this year they made it to the tourney and what else can you ask. they were a victim of the numbers game and just couldnt do anything due to their seeding in the tourney. don't worry arizona will be a force to be reconed with in the pac 10. GO DUCKS!!!!!!!! QUACK DAMN IT!!!!!

They should have been a 2, but they put in no effort and the PAc-10 was c-r-a-z-y this year.
