Hi, I have felt that since people have come to know that I am a gay, their behaviour towards me has changed. I am the same person to them, i am behaving the same...I still love everybody...why do they hate me?

They may not be hating you, they would be feeling uncomfortable with you, You need to make them understand that your sexuality is not going to disturb your mutual relationships, if i am not mistaking you are talking about your friends..who feel offended sometimes or may be they are embarresed being seen with you by others...Make them understand that you are the very same person you were before you disclosed this fact....If they are your real friends, they will understand it..if not...its not good to have such friends.

I don't think that people necessarily hate you, it's just something about you has changed. Obviously, people didn't know this about you before, so it's going to take time for everyone to adjust to this characteristic that nobody knew you had. I think that once everyone becomes used to this, you will notice that people gradually begin to know you for who you are!

I don't think they truly hate you...they just are having trouble because they didn't see it before.
