How can i increase my ADSL speed in my country JORDAN , I have contract with 128 Kb and i get only 30-44 pleas help i need information how to increase it NOT how ADSL works best wishes

There is nothing you can do to increase it, except move closer to the telephone company.

With DSL the farther from the main office you are, the slower your DSL will be.

the speed specified by ISP 128 Kbps is Kilo bits per scond
you cannot actually increase the speed.
but you can verify it
how
128 Kilo bits = 128/8 Kilo Bytes = 16KBps
(8 bits = 1 byte )
so when you download a large file you should get a display of download speed on the download window if should ideally be 16 for 128 Kbps since you say you are getting 30-44 be happy because your ISP is giving you
44*8 = 353 Kbps.

u cant increase ur speed ...it is ur ISP who decideds it ...

however if they have given u a facility like BANDWIDTH ON DEMAND ,then u can really increase /decrease it .
