Americans don't hate socialist countries. The United States has some very good relations with socialist countries such as Canada, England, Denmark etc.

Why in the world would we want to live in a country where the government dictates whatever we do? Why would we want to go through the government to get anything that is needed? Why would we want individual rights taken from us, and replaced by government bureaucrats telling us what to do? Why would we want our countries soverignty taken from us?

So in essense, why in the hell would we want to be socialists? We fought to be free from government interference in our lives, why go back to the very thing we rebelled against? We don't want to live like England!

I think your statement is TOO broad. I don't know any Americans that HATE socialist countries.

Bceause we always end up having to give them financial aid and accept their refugees, and sometimes they promote wars to establish socialism in other countries (Korea, Vietnam, Tibet, Nepal, etc. etc. and get us sucked into helping the resistance).
