Check the cable. Make sure the modem is turned on. If you're trying to switch computers, unplug the modem power supply for a few seconds and plug it back in.

Troubleshooting you connection is pretty striaght forward. First check the cable connection on the back of your laptop and insure that the lights are doing their dance, Next click on the Network icon to open it and view the available networks to ensure that the network you are trying to access is not disabled. Next go to the control panel under performance and maintenace and select system to bring up another window and go to the device manager and see if youre drivers are installed properly. And then go to start - run and type command and once the command prompt appears type in the ipconfig /all and see if your computer IP and Gateway are correct. I know it is a long list of things to do. But sometimes it is a matter of just making sure things are working as they should. Good Luck

Your details of your question are a big vague but I'll give it a go.
If running WIndows run the Network Connecton Wizard. Next make sure a firewall isn't on or is configured correctly. After that check in Device Manager to see if Windows says your card is working correctly. Next, check the cable to see if it actually work (can't tell you how long I messed around with everything to find out that step). After that I would try to find updates for the drivers as well as if Windows has released any updates for it to work with your card. After that try a different card to see if that's the problem. Lastly try seeing if your router, if you have one, is allowing you. And try resetting your HUB.
That's all my ideas. Good luck, friend.
