matt---tell her the truth...she will know that she can't compete in this area and that may cause her pain...but at least she will know that it isn't anything she did or didn't do...after 5 years you owe her the truth.

There particularly isn't a "advantageous" thank you to tell the lady you have lied to (a pair of destiny jointly), led on for 5 years and knocked up on an identical time as cheating on her in the back of her back that it rather is over. i assume the least cruel factor is to be elementary along with her so she isn't left thinking why you ditched her while she replaced into pregnant including your new child. tell her the elementary certainty, which you're a scummy cheater not worth of her, and he or she merits a lot greater effectual. however you do, do not lie, while you evaluate which will in basic terms make issues a lot worse. Oh, and while she takes you to courtroom for economic help, be a guy, and pay what you owe her for elevating your flesh and blood on her very own, do not sink to an excellent decrease point of skeeziness by way of attempting to get out of it, or pay as low as you may.

I've joked with my girlfriend, "If you ever leave me, leave me for a woman." I'd actually feel better knowing that it was 'men in general' rather than 'me in particular' that was the problem. After five years you should be able to trust each other. Give her intelligence some credit, too - she may have figured it out also.

How about being honest with her since, you have now discovered that you are gay.... even though it might hurt her, it is better than lying to her.... lying is the worst you can do... if you can't tell her you are gay, then leave her without telling her why.... but i know you are better than that.... If she loves and cares for you, then she will understand!

i mean...yeah it sucks because it seems she might (with some due cause) believe you totally used her, but maybe she can find it in her to realize it's who you are, and not something you can change. Human sexuality is not something that can be deciphered overnight, and most people (myself included) take years to fully accept it.
just don't date any guys at all until you've really broken up with her, because that's just mean, no matter who you are or whether you're gay or not.

Yep, just tell her the truth. She may be suspicious anyway. You guys started dating really young, you're only 19. A lot of people figure it out in their late teens. Good luck to you!

Be honest. Yeah, it'll hurt her for a while (nobody likes being dumped) but in the end she'll understand and you'll always have her as a best friend.

i think you should just tell her honestly, and ask her what she wants to do. she can either leave you straight away or she accepts your explanation and stay as friends

Be honest. If she finds out on her own, she will be more hurt by your lying to her.
