Is it the Lions? The Browns? Or perhaps the Cardinals? Or maybe another team? Houston may be a decent answer too even though they've only been around for a handful of years. But, chances are most answers are going to be one of the first three.

without a doubt the Cardnails, unless im wrong ..... im pretty sure they have one playoff victory since the beginning of the Super Bowl. the Browns have been one fumble and an incredible drive by Hall of Fame QB John Elway away from the Super Bowl ..... they dont even belong in this conversation. i think the Lions have made it to the NFC Championship game as well ..... dont know. college football is my game, not the NFL. but i know enough to know the answer to your question is the Cardnails.

The Cardinals by far. Too early to declare the Texans, and at least the Browns and Lions have at least sniffed the Super Bowl. The Cards have only been to the playoffs 5 times (2 in AZ) in the SB era with 1, yes 1 win.

Both the Bengals and the Colts has had the distinction of owning a 1-15 record. However, of all time, the Cardinals, Browns, Bucs, and Texans have continously floundered year after year. In fact, there are many college-level teams that could beat the Cards or Texans or Browns. Notice I didn't name the Lions. They have had their moments, they just haven't been decent in the past handful of years (mostly due to poor GM decisions by Matt Millen).

Easily the Saints. True, they had a good year in 2006, but if my memory serves correctly, I believe the Saints had only one season of .500 or better before that, and they lost their one-and-only playoff appearance before that. Even if you look at the players and not the results, the Lions at least had Barry Sanders. The Browns do not belong on the list, as they had some very good teams in the 1980s -- one John Elway drive and one fumble the next year kept them from playing in consecutive Super Bowls.

The Cardinals.

Well, if we are not considering time in the league, the Houston Texans take the cake because they have never had a winning season. If we are considering time, the Cardinals have to be the worst.

It is the Cardinals. The Browns actually were good before Modell moved the team and they restarted.

Despite the fact that i like the browns (not my favorite but i still like them over most teams) i would have to declare them to be the worst. Not only do they do horrible year in and year out, but they ruin possibly good players. They get good draft picks from their poor play the previous season and then they ruin the players they pick up. They get them beat on and worn down within a matter of a few season.

In my football book the cardinals have the worst win to loss percentage, so the cardenals are the worst

I would have to say Tampa back in the day. They really stunk up the league. Overall I think the mistake by the lake..the Browns have sucked a long time.
