Regardless if the matches are pre determined, they are still athletes. Most of their wrestlers are in spectacular shape. Even the ""fat"" ones by our standards are in shape. Being in shape is not just having a six pack or extreme low body fat. These guys go out there and move around non stop for 10+ minutes. Their bodies go through hell. Body slams, getting thrown off 10 foot heights constantly, it all takes a toll on your body.
The majority people here wouldn't be able to put up with it. I would love to see Sara Silverman or Jay Leno get body slammed 10 times or thrown off ten feet heights 10 times per airing. That would convince me that WWE stars are nothing more than actors.

no its not a sport. its entertainment, as in World Wrestling Entertainment. they used to be hush hush about the "fakeness" of wrestling, now its like they agree its not real. the athletes r real, but the rest is acting. people still get injured. i think of it as a pumped up soap opera, which has sucked here recently. lolz

Wow. I can't change how you feel, no matter what I say. Why do you feel the need to be rude? Your mom and dad must be real proud to have raised such a fine upstanding person who can pass judgement on all those who have different ideals and beliefs than you.

I know, i agree with you. wcw was about the sport not entertainment, and wcw was a place where you made a name out yourself. i rather wrestle and make a name of myself then work for a place where i entertain instead of perform the sport instead.

The WWE is entertainment by way of fact the action is predicated on the tale surrounding the fits and is extremely little to do with the particularly fits. Its no longer for the people who discover the action interesting, its geared in the direction of people who desire to be sure drama bring about some variety of violence.

No. It is not a sport. That is the reason they changed its name from WWF to WWE. It is just a kind of entertainment business like movies.
