i am 29 weeks pregnant with my second child.my first was a boy.my belly is the same shape as it was when i was pregnant with my son.does this mean i will have another boy and can you tell what sex you are having just from the shape of your belly when you are pregnant?

They say that if the baby is high its a girl, and if its low, it will be a boy. Now that may not necessarily be true. I was very low with my second one, and she was a girl. I think its just a myth, but you never know. Here are some fun gender prediction quizzers....

People think I am going to have a boy by the shape of my belly but it has been confirmed 6 times that it is a girl. Her name will be Angela too :) All your belly can tell you is the shape of your uterus. Some ppl swear by the old wives tale but it isn't accurate but it's always fun guessing. Since you are 29 weeks can't they tell you what your having? I found out at like 20 weeks. Good luck!

No. They say boys carry low and look more like a watermelon and girls carry high and look more like a basketball. But this has no basis in fact. Some women hve pregnancies that are different as night and day and they have the same gender both times. Other have the same symptoms and a different gender. Or vice versa. You really can't tell the gender of the baby by your shape. You don't grow differently just because of the baby's genitalia.

Hi,
I have 2 sons and 1 daughter and with each of my pregnancies I carried all 3 of my children differently.
So I learned that even if you carry differently, you can still have 2 pregnancies of the same sex (in my case, I carried my sons differently but they both ended-up to be boys)

That not the usual answer to know the sex of the baby. Scanning is the best result. You can try to learn from this site to get or choose the baby sex.

I think it's just an old wives tale b/c everyones pregnancy is different, however I carried low with all three and they're all boys. Congratulations!!
