Yep. And yep, them too. Listen, God isn't a bouncer at an exclusive night club pushing away those who don't fit into a cookie-cutter character trait! You talked about born-again as a example. You need to check this idea out. Investigate what it really means. No you aren't going to have to sell your first born or get weird! Christians will tell you God forgives all sin! This IS true however, remember, that punishment is not eliminated! I can explain this a little more in depth, it's not a horror story, just check it out! I mean what do you have to lose? What do you have to gain?

Men commit adultery too, ya know. That is entirely up to God if there is a God. No person can answer that question and give you a correct answer because no person knows that. If you believe in God, you probably believe in forgiveness and all that jazz so, in a sense, yes, you could commit adultery and go to heaven. If you keep doing it, I doubt God looks favorably upon that. He knows what's in your heart and you can't fool Him. He's not an idiot.

Yes. The Bible says, "To the penitent he provides a way back, he encourages those who are losing hope! . . . Turn again to the Most High and away from sin" (Sir. 17:19, 21). If we repent he will forgive any sin, including adultery. In the Gospel of John, a crowd wanted to kill a woman who was caught in sexual sin. Jesus sent the people away to think about their own sins. When they left, he asked, "'Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?' She said, 'No one, Lord.' And Jesus said, 'Neither do I condemn you; go, and do not sin again'" (John 8:1–11).

Over and over, Scripture says the exact same thing. Psalm 103:12 reads, "As far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgressions from us." Lamentations 3:22–23 states, "His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning." God holds no grudges and does not look down on us because of the past. On the contrary, he says, "I have swept away your transgressions like a cloud, and your sins like mist; return to me, for I have redeemed you. . . . I will not remember your sins" (Is. 44:22, 43:25).

The history of the Church tells the same story. Many saints led immoral lives or committed grave sins before repenting and leading lives of exemplary holiness, including King David, Mary Magdalene, Paul, and Augustine. The sins these saints repented of include premarital sex, adultery, and even murder. Just as God forgave them, he can and will forgive us, if we are willing to do what they did--repent and amend our ways.

Come to him in prayer. He will not be thinking, "Oh, here comes that woman/man who made a marital mistake." Instead, he is thinking the same thing he was thinking thousands of years ago: "I have called you by name, you are mine. . . . I have carved your name onto the palm of my hand" (Is. 43:1; 49:16).

Jesus instituted the sacrament of reconciliation to bring the gift of his forgiveness to us. After he rose from the dead, he came to the apostles, greeted them, and then breathed on them. The only other place in the Bible where God breathes on anyone is at the moment of creation. So we know something big is happening here. Jesus then said, "If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained" (John 20:21–23).

For two thousand years, the Church has made this healing gift from Jesus available to us, so that we can hear the consoling words of absolution: "God, the Father of mercies, through the death and resurrection of his Son has reconciled the world to himself and sent the Holy Spirit among us for the forgiveness of sins; through the ministry of the Church may God give you pardon and peace, and I absolve you from your sins in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."

Come to the great sacrament of reconciliation, and receive the gift of God's forgiveness.

A hundred million people were killed for their conviction that people could read the Bible in their own language. And you ask this.
According to the Bible NOBODY goes to Heaven or Hell. We go 6 feet down and when Jesus returns EVERYBODY will get a second chance.Instead of concentrating on one subject or religion broaden your mind and develop a Spiritual life which will put you at ease with the Universe. The sky pilots are leading the life of God in France because they can scare you and you part with your money. Worse than the IRS.

Jesus died for our sins! Please remember that. even if you commited adultry. If you ask for his forgiveness and you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ himself, all is forgiven and you can still reach the kingdom of heaven. The only thing god doesn't forgive you for is committing suicide. Because then you can't ask for forgiveness, it will be to late. and god gave you life and you should respect that and cherish what he has given you.

Redemption (forgiveness by God's Christ) is up to Him. Depends on the sincerity of the offender. There's no fooling our Creator!

PS. The reward for faithfulness to God is a place in His Kingdom, not necessarily in heaven. This is a very common misnomer...and there's not much time...

Yes, it's called forgiveness. Jesus died that we may be liberated. He is a forgiving God, and he loves us enough that when we make mistakes, we can come to him and ask forgiveness. Forgiveness doesn't mean that we won't pay for some of the sins of our past, it means that he doesn't hold them against us so we are unable to be free from them.

I don't know about the "born again" part because we have a baptism in our church when you're a little baby instead....but Jesus died for our sins, washed all our sins away, and if we are truly sorry for our sins then they are washed away. And it's understood that people commit sin because they are human. If you aren't truly sorry then the sin is yours and somewhere, sometime, somehow you'll suffer it if you're not sorry, i.e. the boomerang effect.
