I know this sounds like kind of a silly question and that everyone has a beautiful smile (ladi yadi ya)...but I realize that I have kind of a weird smile. I recently took a picture with a few friends and noticed that I was the only one that doesn't have the U type of shape to my smile. Most people tend to have a U with a line on top (like what kids would draw for a mouth). Mine, however, is like a U at the bottom and then kind of a slight inverted U at the top. It's not noticeable to others probably but I tried to do one of those online makeover things that let you try out different looks and when they superimposed that type of smile on my face, I just noticed how much better it looked.

Anyone know if there's a way to practice a different smile?

well you can definetly work on smiling differently...however i suspect its a problem with your teeth and jaw. They can fix that with sugery and braces and your mouth will naturaly go into a cymetrical place. But you know it could just be your imagination and its fine....take a closer look and see what you can do. I always smile to the side when im not working (modeling) but i practice it so i can do it straight for work. I also had jaw surgery though becaue i had TMJ.

Why try to change it? It's part of your personality! And if people don't notice it anyways, it doesn't really matter much. Maybe just practice smiling like that if you really want to, but it seems like a waste of time and effort to me.
