a gud dress, or music cd.. you can take her to the movie.. or also presend her some gud show piece which she would love to keep and remember you always..

OMG like you can totally get her a My Chemical Romance shirt or that Panic at the disco shirt she's been wanting. Maybe Fall Out Boy cuz they are da bomb... geez being ironic sucks, but in all seriousness, from her age group (and assuming she's into what now a days is sadly called the "rock scene" what i mentioned is pretty much up her alley). these types of questions are more or less a huge waste of time unless you give input on what your 14 year old friend likes and dislikes.

More like SPELLING TROUBLE! I knew how to spell "birthday" at an early age. It is a very simple word. It is spelt "birthday".
In answering your question, what about a CD, money, gift voucher to a clothing store (that she shops at or likes to shop at) or some nice jewellery (jewelry in USA-I live in Australia).

what i think is a great idea is this:
buy a box from a cheap store
then add cute little things into it like:
a homemade CD of all her fave songs or you and hers(just 1's she'll like,
some chocolate
a dvd she might like
undies (lol funny when she looks)
a small teddy bear
money
gift cards 2 somewhere
a picture of you both
or just anything generally like that she might love, think is funny, treasure

if shes a girlie girl there are loads of things you could get her. my sisters are around that age and they all love doing their nails etc, there is this great website (www.nailsinc.com) which sells LOADS of great gift sets and individual nail varnishes etc.
you could get her a matching gift set of like necklace and earrings or something.
or matching set of undies and bra or pjs or something!!!
or you could get a gift voucher for the perfume shop or something, or if you know shes got a particular perfume or wants a particular perfume you could get her that!!
or you could get her a gift card if you arent sure whether shed like that and would like to get something she can choose.

Make her a good mix tape of meaninful songs (download and make a CD). That will be around for awhile and remind her of her 14th birthday and you.

A lot of people seem to frown on gift cards, but I always preferred them!! Then you and your friend can go shopping together!!

You could ask her what she wants, or ask her what she hopes her parents are going to get her and make sure her parents arent getting the present you want to get her.
